If Costa Crociere asks us to visit a ship under construction to map the onboard screens, we do it. Especially if the ship is located in Marseille.
This trip becomes an opportunity to tell the story of the project from an unusual and personal perspective through a Case Study with vibrant, bright, and informal tones.
A supposedly fun thing that we’ll (maybe) do again

Here’s the process that led to the completion of the project:
- Costa asked us to board a ship docked at the shipyard in Marseille to map all the ship’s screens and then design and create a series of custom videos to be sent.
- Upon arriving in Marseille, we went straight to the shipyard: boarding a massive cruise ship while its interiors are still under construction is a unique experience.
- In just a couple of days, we combed through every corner of the ship, noting the location and purpose of all the screens.
- We returned to Italy and transferred our work into a colorful and information-packed Excel document.
- The result: over 80 videos in 4 different formats, scheduled across all the ship’s screens.
